Consent to Processing Personal Data
Julius Blum GmbH, Industriestraße 1, 6973 Höchst, Austria (hereinafter referred to as “Seller”), operates a webshop norway.blumbeyondcomponents.com, where business customers (hereinafter referred to as “Customer”) may open an account giving the following basic information:
- firm, branche of trade, function,
- street, ZIP-code, place of residency, country,
- VAT registration number (tax ID),
- e-mail address, website address,
- (mobile) phone number,
- bank account number and payment method,
- name of procurement manager and/or authorized buyers.
Such data will be collected, processed and stored to uphold the business relationship, fulfill contractual obligations (inter alia, to manufacture and subsequently deliver the products ordered to the place indicated in the order as well as to authorize and process payments) and to get in contact with the Customer for direct (personalized) marketing purposes. The data will be stored for the duration of the business relationship and 10 (ten) years thereafter to comply with the legal obligation to retain records.
In case of any warranty or quality issues or (technical) support in applying the products to the intended usage or furniture, Seller has established a support service that will help and support the Customer. To be able to render such services Seller will collect the following information of the Customer and the person getting in contact with Seller on behalf of the Customer:
Seller will process and store the data together with the Customer account to enable future reference to the issues solved to enhance Customer service and to analyze and improve performance, products and services for the Customer and other customers. The data will be stored for 10 (ten) years.
Operating the web shop and ensuring web shop security and fraud protection, Customer IP addresses will be kept and logged for a duration of 6 (six) months.
If the Customer opts in, to receive indirect marketing information, follow us on social media like Instagram, Facebook, and a recurring newsletters, all aimed at wider audiences, Customer’s
basic contact data,
user behavior
will be analyzed to improve our business operation and our services as well as to send e-mails, text messages (SMS), WhatsApp and other tools to send messages including retargeting ads through social media and search engines. Furthermore, Customer will receive (after sales) survey and feedback requests, participation requests for loyalty and referral programs, and webinars. The personal data will be stored for a period of 3 (three) years.
The personal data will be processed by Seller and shared with (a) the producer of the products, XGL Xtended Services Global BV, Europark-Noord 9, 9100 Sint-Niklaas, Belgium and (b) Blum Norge AS, org. nr. 929 046 118, Tyrimyrveien 2, 3515 Hønefoss, Norway
By activating the check box (hereinafter referred to as “Consent”) you
A. confirm to have read and understood this Consent, state you are entitled to act on behalf of the Company and explicitly consent to processing the personal data collected according to paragraph 1., 2. and if opted in by a separate check box, paragraph 4., all for the purposes listed in respective paragraphs, and
B. consent to your personal data being shared within our company group as put forward in article 5.
Please be notified you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by sending your withdrawal by e-mail to the address [email protected] or by sending a letter mail to Julius Blum GmbH, Industriestraße 1, 6973 Höchst, Austria. If you withdraw your consent, your business order account will be deactivated, all data not needed to comply with legal requirements (including warranty and liability periods) deleted or anonymized, or, if your withdrawal is restricted to marketing data, such data deleted or anonymized.
If you are not sure which of your personal data we process, you may request information on this subject matter; if the personal data processed is inaccurate you may request rectification or erasure of your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to obtain restriction of processing your data and to receive your personal data (right to data portability). Any such request shall be sent to either of the addresses listed in the paragraph above.
